Finally, an Omega Probiotic!

I just received my first order of Omega Probiotic from our favorite Nordic Naturals. Leave it up to NN to come up with this combo in one pill. I am used to taking 3 probiotic pills a day and two Nordic Naturals omega-3 supplements. While the concentration of probiotics isn’t as strong as what I am taking now (I am on an Ayurvedic regimen), it still has 2 billion stable and viable probiotic spores per serving. Plus, your EFAs are taken care of with double strength EPA+DHA fish oil for more omega-3 benefits. Love it! I’ll take 2 vs 5 pills daily any day and when I need that extra probiotic dose, I can just add that to my intake. I will give it a try and let you know what I think!

Packing

I’ve spent the entire day trying to pack for an 18-day trip that includes formal dinners, hiking, swimming, casual sightseeing, and business meetings. One suitcase, as planned? No way. In fact, two suitcases don’t seem to be working out very well, either. What I really need is a couple of steamer trunks and my very own Sherpa.

I love the actual act of traveling, but absolutely can’t stand the preparation. You’d think by now I’d be a pro – I started out about a long time ago when I had the great job of following riders and horse trainers around the globe to wherever they were going to train in order to write about what they were doing, and I really don’t remember worrying about my suitcase beyond riding boots and an extra pair of jeans. Of course, airports were a lot simpler then, without today’s security hassles, baggage fees, and having to check through things like shampoo and moisturizers. If anyone out there has any great tips to share for making a multi-dimensional trip work with just a carry-on, I’d LOVE to hear from you! Or, if you have a Sherpa you’d like to share with me, that works, too.
