It's a Magical Night for a Moondance
This summer Osmosis, a Japanese-style spa located sixty minutes north of San Francisco, will delight guests and summer revelers with their otsukimi or moonviewing ceremonies. Set in the new meditation garden, which features a koi pond, water irises, and a soothing waterfall, guests will be enchanted by the magical moonviewing while they listen to round singing, instrumentals by a Japanese bamboo flute, haiku poetry, and a Dharma talk. Osmosis is the only U.S. spa offering cedar enzyme baths, which feature more than 600 active enzymes imported from Japan. (This treatment was featured in Healing Lifestyles & Spas September/October 2003 issue). They also offer a variety of massage and skincare treatments. The Otsukimi experience will be available on July 1, July 30, August 27, and September 27, 2004—the four full moons of summer. For more information call (707) 823-8231 or visit www.osmosis.com
