See yourself relaxing on a magic carpet of sound, suspended in space, floating through stars: This is the BETAR Experience, a platform bed suspended in a geodesic dome that looks like a children's playground structure. Tucked into a private room at Sanibel Harbour Resort & Spa in Ft. Myers, Florida, this 'hammock from heaven' is surrounded by a mural in the spirit of the native Caloosa people, designed to transport you to another world as the lights dim. The dome houses sixteen speakers that pulse with music and natural sound rhythms. An operator outside controls the speakers to transmit subtle frequencies that, bathe your entire body in sound waves, and lull you into deep relaxation.
