Martial arts master, yoga teacher, and lifestyle coach Cameron Shayne developed a challenging holistic training system called Budokon. It combines martial arts, hatha yoga, and meditation. This move, called the Brazilian, tones and strengthens the oblique, core, shoulder, and thigh muscles, as well as honing focus and balance.

The Brazilian

1. Stand with feet twice as wide as your shoulders. Both feet should be in slight pigeon-toe stance, and knees slightly bent.

2. Hinge from your hips, and place right hand directly under your shoulder so you have a 'tripod' base.

3. Shoot your right leg forward toward the front, bringing it through your right hand and left leg, and extending the leg fully. Recoil your right leg, drawing it back into the tripod. Repeat 10-20 times, then switch legs.
