Sitting Deep Breath

Continued from our Retreat & Renew Daily Tip.

Ready to dive deep? Try this easy and meditative breathing exercise:

  1. Sit in any comfortable position.

  2. Interlace your fingers. Place clasped hands underneath your chin (chin is resting on interlaced fingers). Elbows point downward.

  3. Inhale deeply and slowly raise your elbows as high as you can.

  4. Exhale slowly and drop your head as far back as possible without overextending your neck. Bring your elbows down so they touch. Hands remain clasped under your chin.

  5. Drop your chin. Inhale and repeat 2 more times.

  6. Repeat for 4 more rounds.
