Modified Hand to Big Toe Pose
Hold small 5-pound dumbbells in each hand. Start standing with your weight equal in both feet, shift your weight to your left leg, keeping the balance between your inner and outer foot (don’t sway to the left). Gradually bend your right knee, bringing it up to your chest. Keep the knee bent. With your knee bent and left leg straight, lift your arms up toward the outside of your shoulders, turn the palms out and circle your arms overhead. Slowly reverse back to your sides. Try for 8 reps and switch sides.
Hamstrings and Inner Thigh
Stand tall into your left leg and slowly lift your right leg straight behind you as you lower your torso so that it is parallel to the floor (Warrior III). From here inhale, on the exhale, bend your left knee. Inhale, straighten. Exhale, bend. Repeat 5 times. Lower and switch sides.
