A Toast To Beauty
Jolene Hart, Beauty Editor

Have you sipped your last day-glo sports drink? Ready to call it quits with the sugary sodas and juices?
You may find a healthier alternative in an electrolyte-rich beverage from nature: coconut water.
If you’ve already tasted the slightly sour drink (often sweetened with other fruit juices), you probably have a strong opinion. Those who love it seem to swear by it, while those who cringe at the flavor probably won’t be going back for another sip. Kinda like our 'For The Love of Cilantro' tip, there are lovers and there are vehement haters!
Coconut water, the juice of young coconuts, is mostly water (about 95%), so it works well to hydrate your body. It’s full of potassium (almost twice the amount in one banana) and electrolytes, as well as minerals like magnesium and calcium.
The beauty benefits of coconut water come from its ability to efficiently re-hydrate the body, which helps to hydrate the skin from within. Pure water will do the trick, but coconut water offers extra nutrition benefits.
We've put together some of our favorite drink concoctions for beauty and health, take a peek as you prepare for creative summer beverages. We'll even introduce you to the most gorgeous water presentation on earth!
