Spring and summer seasons are all about getting naturally glowing skin and organic makeup is a big player in this goal to have radiant skin.
Eating clean, staying hydrating, and getting your antioxidants in are all great ways to get an inner glow, but you can maximize your outer glow with a little help from some awesome organic makeup products.
Jane Iredale Smooth Affair Primer and Brightener
I’ve been using this amazing primer for years and with good reason! This is another long-time favorite of mine because it gives the most subtle glow. If you dislike overly shiny or shimmery products, the Living Luminizer is the perfect choice for you! The organic plant formula is simple and offers a subtle glow to all the high points on your face from brow bone to cupid’s bow.
Kjaer Weis Cream Blush in Joyful
Although all of the Kjaer Weis cream blushes are stunning in their own right, Joyful is a gorgeous peachy orange that will give nearly every skin tone a beautiful natural glow. The gorgeous organic cream blush color glides on, blends into skin, and lasts for hours. If you’re more on the fair side, use a lighter hand to apply and if you’re darker, apply a few layers to get more pigmented color.
Brightening Face Serum ( Try → Vintner’s Daughter Active Botanical Serum )
Brightening face serums are great for brightening your skin in a more lasting way. Any serum with vitamins A or C will work well, but my personal favorite is the Active Botanical Serum from Vintner’s Daughter. It’s a wonderful cure-all kind of face serum that will improve your skin in all areas from acne to fine lines, discoloration, firmness, and more. Moreover, the serum uses a blend of potent organic plant oils and essences to repair skin damage and unveil your skin’s true radiance. They’re also brilliant when blended with other skincare products for added hydration and a potent shot of antioxidants.
W3ll People Expressionist Mascara in Blue
A trick I learned in high school was to use blue mascara to brighten and wake up your eyes. The blue color helps brighten up the whites of your eyes which will make your eyes appear wider and leave you looking more alert. My favorite natural blue mascara is the W3ll People Expressionist Mascara because the wand is great for separating and offering volume to lashes while lending a beautiful blue color to make your peepers pop!
If glowing skin is your goal, the best place to start is by cleaning up your diet, staying hydrated, and eating lots of fruits and vegetables. Once you’ve got the basics covered, these organic makeup products are a wonderful way to enhance your natural features and give you a glow without piling on the glitter (thank God!).
