Eastern Healing Hits the Golf Course at the Boulders Resort & Golden Door Spa. The “Pin to Pin” golf acupuncture treatment, created by the resort’s Golden Door Spa experts, exclusively for golfers. The 80-minute “Pin to Pin” treatment blends acupuncture, hot stone therapy and therapeutic massage with a concentration on the muscles engaged during the golf swing. The cost of the service begins at $270.

According to Keith Simmons, acupuncture specialist at the Boulders Golden Door Spa, “The key to a successful golf swing is movement with a full range of motion. Acupuncture is the movement of energy that provides the body tissues (muscles, tendons, bones, mind) with that full range of motion. By customizing the placement of the acupuncture needles and focusing heat and massage in target points, we can ease strained muscles, increase blood flow to core swing muscle tissue and tendons and relax those swing muscles to encourage broader range of motion. The result is a smoother, wider and more elegant golf swing,” Simmons adds. Additionally, this therapeutic treatment is a healthier alternative to pain medications and other traditional medicine.
