Our liver is the primary organ in the detox process and works hard every day to process all the substances we ingest, including food, alcohol, caffeine and pollutants. Try to reduce some of those ‘liver loaders’ and to help support the liver, remember to choose foods that supply essential nutrients including a wide range of vegetables, plenty of water to help flush your system, and use herbs ( try milk thistle or dandelion ). The liver can also be helped when you have restful sleep, laughter, sunshine, joy and exercise in your life. The sensation of feeling good is extremely powerful so find ways to cultivate this and your liver will be in better shape.
