Chipeta spa is the “heart” of the Resort. A serene space with treatments inspired by the southwest, and experienced therapists intuitive in the healing arts. With 4 treatment rooms, our 3,000 ft spa also contains a circular cedar sauna, steam room, and mirrored Yoga room. Specialty treatments include our “Himalyan Heaven”, a therapeutic massage, combined with ‘shirodhara’ a traditional east Indian treatment that induces meditative tranquility & unwinds the mind & body. Our gift shop includes local, organic skin and body care products. Chipeta spa is committed to being a green spa, and providing the most healing & therapeutic treatments.

Accommodations

Named to honor the wife of Ute leader Chief Ouray, this pet friendly retreat features 25 tastefully appointed guest rooms, deluxe suites, and condominiums. All rooms feature a king or queen size bed, and Mexican tiled bath with spa tub, while many sport a gas fireplace, and private deck with hot tub. This adobe-style, environmental-friendly, Colorado Resort & Spa, provides rustic boutique lodging along with solar heated salt water hot pools, as well as an on property restaurant & spa. Fringed by the majestic San Juan mountain range in Ridgway, Co, our southwestern-inspired boutique lodge blends cozy accommodations and wellness touches with bed and breakfast charm.

Our Four Corners Cafe offers delicious Southwestern inspired cuisine, against the back drop of the San Juan Mountains. Conveniently located at the Resort, our cafe serves up flavorful dishes using the freshest ingredients from the region, with warm and friendly service in an intimate dining setting. Looking to indulge in casual Tapas or HappyHour drinks? We feature regional wines, beers and spirits at the roof top deck and Sky Bar. Every summer we have live entertainment with a range of singer/songwriters and local bands. Four Corners Cafe was recently voted one of the Top Dining Destinations in Southwest Colorado!

The spa is brought to life by the surrounding plants & beautiful flowers while serenity greets you with lavender, chamomile and vanilla filled air. A visit to the Chipeta Solar Spring Resort wouldn’t be complete without indulging in a customized therapeutic massage, utilizing organic coconut oil, or a customized rejuvenating facial including wild crafted, organic, and local skin care products, such as a yummy Honey Goji Berry Mask.
