Health & Fitness

Overall health and well being are intricate parts to Holistic Dentistry. Silver amalgam fillings contain more then 50% mercury. Dr. Baer has been trained and follows the I.A.O.M.T. protocol of mercury amalgam removal and is an accredited member of the I.A.O.M.T. (International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology). Dr. Baer, along with the staff wear special safety masks and remove the mercury fillings with a special suction and air filtration system. Bethesda Dental Works offers metal free dentistry with all porcelain or resin restorations. We use all natural fluoride-free materials and offer our patients natural products to use in their dental care routine at home. For patients with chemical sensitivity issues we offer compatability testing. This allows us to make sure the material we use is one that is not reactive with the sensitive patient.
