Spa Description

Sundara was conceived as a place of wellness, where lives would be transformed one person at a time. Wellness would be defined as a balance of four cornerstones - spiritual, emotional, mental and physical. The vision was for a destination spa where guests and employees alike would allow wisdom into their lives, a wisdom drawn from ancient healing principles and modern well-being. A sanctuary where guests would leave with more than they came. The vision became reality, when we opened our doors in 2003. We are adult-only for tranquility. We are smoke-free for health. We are cell-phone free in public areas for relaxation. Guests may select from a full menu of massages, body treatments and facials or finishing services in the salon as well. While a guest of Sundara, you may enjoy all our spa facility has to offer: men's and women's locker rooms, Purifying Bath Ritual, Relaxation Lounge overlooking our pool, and our new Tranquility Garden, a space for meditation and reflection. Sundara is a sanctuary from stress and it is our policy for guests to deactivate and stow cell phones and tablets while in common areas, engage is quiet conversation that is soothing to everyone around you, embrace the conversation-free policy of the Purifying Bath Ritual, Tranquility Garden and Meditation Trail. It is our goal to provide each and every guest with an oasis of complete calm.

Accommodations

Intimate by design, Sundara is tucked away in a 26-acre pine forest on the scenic outskirts of Wisconsin Dells. As you enter the long winding road to Sundara, you'll see our main building, graced with an outdoor infinity edge pool, outdoor fireplace and waterfalls. Inside, we offer accommodations larger than most and serenely appointed. Choose from 26 suites, with woodland or pool views. Each suite includes a king featherbed, designer spa bathroom and cozy fireplace. Our larger suites include a sunken sitting area and private screened in balcony. Our largest suites sleep up to seven on three levels. We stand ready to assist with recommendations on restaurants, theatre tickets, activities and local events. Guests also have the option of renting our private villa, sleeping up to eight. It features two bedrooms, two baths, gourmet kitchen, dining room, living room with three-way fireplace, and wrap-around veranda. The villa suite sleeps two, and includes your own private indoor spa terrace.

Dining

Dining may be enjoyed in suite, on the Radiance Rotunda, with its three-story view to the woods or, weather permitting, at the poolside Infinity Edge Dining Cabana. Sundara's culinary team works with sustainable farms around the country to bring guests a satisfying menu of seasonally fresh cuisine.

Spa & Salon Services

Our spa includes 16 treatment rooms. Three are spacious Spa Together rooms allowing for side-by-side spa treatments, and one is a new spa suite with soak bath that's ideal for those times when you want to immerse yourself in the full spa experience by enjoying a number of treatments without interruption. Guests may select from a full menu of massages, body treatments and facials or finishing services in the salon as well. Health & Fitness

Our infinity edge pool is heated year-round. One-on-one Hatha Yoga is offered in the privacy of your guestroom. In the winter, silent snow sports allow for a peaceful workout. Bring snowshoes or pack cross country skis. We've added bikes to our list of amenities, parked right outside the front door. We'll supply the helmets too. A fitness studio with a full range of equipment is available for use by all guests. It is located off-site, just minutes away. There are also three state parks close by that offer incredible opportunities for outdoor recreation.
