Say Yes to Color
Continued from our Retreat & Renew Daily Tip.

Colors affect our moods, helping us feel more calm and even more stressed. But there are a few general rules of thumb to consider when coloring your life:
Blue
Blue waves are considered cool, which have a calming effect. Painting a room blue or green is a good way to evoke feelings of relaxation and happiness. However, most foodies will tell you to stay away from blue in the kitchen — it can make food less appealing. (But perhaps a good way to diet?)
Reds
Warm tones, including red, yellow and orange provide energy. Have a job interview? Wear a warm color. Warm colors make you appear strong and poised — just make sure the pattern isn’t obnoxious or you’ll appear self-absorbed.
