Date: Friday, March 26, 2010 Title: Invoking our GRACE ~ with Deborah Williams Summary: Retreat at Grail Springs Details: HOW TO AGE WELL WITH GRACE (& MAKEUP!) This weekend WORKSHOP hosted by Deborah Williams gives your practical advice on how to cope with the changes you see in the mirror. The GRACE Workshop gives hands-on guidance developed over 20 years of doing makeup (including celebrities for TV and films) to help women cope with their changing times. From a simple update to a complete restyle, sometimes all it takes is a new look to put you on the road to feeling at your best, often prompting serious wellness and fitness changes. WORKSHOP CONTENT Deborah starts with general theory and her own unmade up face, wowing onlookers with a 10-minute makeover which shows every transforming step. Over the course of the workshop and with hands-on help, the audience learns how to look fresher, younger, and much more professional in ten minutes. She covers different ages/colorings and day/evening/work. You will also learn about best color choices for clothes and signature shades and what color can do for the way you look and feel. Opening Night: Deborah will introduce some general Do’s and Do Nots for the thirty and forty (and etc.) somethings… Making up her own face in stages shows the transformation and imparts tips and hints to help you on your way. She will also hand out her proprietary questionnaire for you to fill out, which will help her develop a transforming makeup to make the best of you. Deborah will do as many color consults on audience members as she can on opening night and offer tips and hints of general interest. There will be time for Q&A at each session. Saturday A.M.: Individual 20-minute short sessions based on the questionnaire. Saturday P.M. & Wrap-Up: Deborah will draw names out of a very fancy hat for a full free makeup session (which may take 30 mins to an hour). If there is enough time, she will pull two names. To wrap-up, Deborah will also review or recap hints and also pass on her knowledge of the role color choice in clothes plays in how you present yourself and hand out a Tip Sheet.
