Tips 2: Chuck Sugar to the Curb
Last week, I was feeling run down, anxious and lethargic. I looked at my diet and realized I was fueled with caffeine, fat and sugar. I immediately put myself on a 3-day green juice detox, and then eliminated sugar completely. In the past week, my face has cleared up, I have lost 5 pounds and I feel happy and healthier.
If you are feeling as if you need a mini-body makeover, ditch the sugar and watch your face, skin and smile clear up. Sugar is one of the worst things for your diet and teeth. If you have sensitive teeth try to avoid sugar completely. A diet high in sugar can cause, toothaches, tooth decay and cavities.
Dr. Amanda M. Tinkle, a General Dentist in Vancouver, Washington, suggests chewing sugar-free gum or brushing your teeth after meals. This will help reduce your sugar cravings and keep a healthy smile.
