As any pedicurist will tell you, the feet are a major conduit for natural detoxification. A weekly at-home foot soak can help bolster the body’s natural process and provide a soothing self-care ritual at the same time. To up the detoxification ante, soak in an Epsom or sea salt solution spiked with cleansing essential oils like eucalyptus, rosemary, juniper berry or tea tree. The salts will help to remineralize the entire body and decongest the skin, drawing out toxins and dissolving negative energy. Salt soaks are also proven pain relievers, so if you’ve been on your feet all day, light your favorite candle, pull out a bucket or draw a shallow bath and mix in the following:

Hot water, sufficient to cover your feet
1 cup Epsom or Sea Salts
10-15 drops essential oils

Swirl until the salt is dissolved and the oils have dispersed. Soak for 30 minutes, or until the water cools. Slather your feet in oil or cream and cover with cozy socks to boost absorption. Your skin, your nails and all 26 bones in your feet will thank you.
