Try These 3 Lifestyle Changes To Banish Body Blemishes:
Loofahs are fantastic for cleansing and exfoliation, but over time they pick up dirt and debris from your body and harbor bacteria that can lead to breakouts. Borba suggests keeping a rotation of loofahs so you can use a clean one each week. Sanitize dirty loofahs in the washing machine and use them again and again.
According to Borba, you should swap out your sheets at least once a week to ensure that you’re not sleeping on breakout-causing oils, sweat and dead skin cells. Sensitivity to detergents can also cause acne, so Borba recommends a fragrance-free detergent if you think you could be allergic.
If back acne is your concern, it’s possible that re-wearing unwashed clothes is bringing on the blemishes. Borba recommends wearing an item of clothing at most two times before washing- even jeans, which can cause bikini bumps, redness and rashes when dirty from body oils.
