Be sure you know your numbers
May 13-17 is National Women’s Health Week with National Women’s Check-Up Day on the 14th.
The week was created to remind women to take care of themselves and to educate themselves about their health since when it comes to health, prevention is key. Having regular exams is an important part of protecting your well-being. While this chart provides general guidelines, your personal family health history may require additional or more frequent screenings. The following information was provided by the National Women’s Health Information Center, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office on Women’s Health (Women’s Health). To request free health publications from the NWHIC call (800) 994-9662.
