Lake Louise is special pocket of the world where dreams are actualized and magic happens. This is not a bold overstatement but my own experience. It’s almost impossible to describe without resorting to expected clichés. Because Lake Louise is truly one of a kind.
The New York Times Travel named Canada the #1 country to visit in 2017, and it’s no wonder with locations like awe-inspiring Banff National Park, home to Lake Louise and the surrounding amphitheater of soaring mountains that showcase Victoria Glacier. Well-known for its traditional teahouses, winter ice-skating, and world-class hiking trails, it’s a destination on bucket lists across the globe.
Named for Queen Victoria’s otherwise anonymous fourth daughter (who also lent her name to the province), the pristine gorgeous Lake Louise is an Instagram-worthy hot spot. Aiding in the magic of the area is the only accommodation on the lake, the immaculate Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise hotel, an ideal place to stay to extend your Lake Louise experience.
For wellness warriors looking for the next self-care infused getaway, here’s a list of why you should add Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise to your wellness wonderland bucket list:
