Before you board your next flight, be sure to pack a bottle of water (either bottled water or water from your own filter) the water on most airlines is anything but healthy. According to a recent testing by the Environmental Protection Agency, 17.2 percent of 169 randomly selected passenger aircrafts carried water that was contaminated with coliform bacteria. Although the water tested was from galley water taps and lavatory faucets, it is best to be cautious when ordering tea or coffee unless you’re certain that the airline is using bottled water.
