Baked Stuffed Pear

Serving size: one pear half per person

Ingredients

  • red or yellow pears
  • 1 tablespoon yellow raisins
  • 1 tablespoon granola or oats
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 one teaspoon butter

Preparation

  1. Cut your pears in half and scoop out the middle section.
  2. Bake in 400 oven for 20-25 min until fork tender.
  3. In small fry pan sauté raisins, granola, butter and organic brown sugar until mixed through about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Stuff in the middle of pears and place under broiler right before serving.
  5. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream, whip cream or plain or vanilla greek yogurt. Also delicious without any topping!
