Healthy Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Balls

Ingredients

  • 1 prepared recipe No Bake Peanut Butter Cookies, omitting the sprinkles
  • 1/2 c dark chocolate morsels
  • 2 t vegetable shortening (such as Crisco)

Instructions

  1. To melt the chocolate, put the morsels in a microwave-safe bowl and add the Crisco (see Note below).
  2. Microwave 30 seconds and stir. Microwave and stir in 10 second increments until chocolate is smooth.
  3. Drizzle the chocolate over the prepared peanut butter cookies.
  4. Refrigerate 1 hour before serving.
