Here’s a delicious, healthy Banana Ginger smoothie recipe with zing! I love the addition of fresh ginger. It’s spicy and has the added benefit of protecting you from colds and flu during the chilly winter months. Bonus!
Strawberry Banana Ginger Smoothie Ingredients: Makes 2 smoothies
- 2 large bananas, sliced
- 8 ripe strawberries, hulled
- 2 Tablespoons fresh, grated ginger
- 2 cups sweetened vanilla almond milk
- 1/2 cup plain or vanilla greek yogurt
- juice of 1/2 lemon
- a pinch of cinnamon
- handful of ice cubes
Preparation
- Place all ingredients in the bowl of a blender and pulse until very smooth and no ice chunks remain.
- Pour into glasses and serve.
