A Caribbean Skin Vacation

The Rockhouse Spa mimics the resort properties bohemian sheik vibe, ultra laid back and 100% Caribbean. Step foot in the open air thatched roof and you are greeted with a cleansing footbath, crisp cucumber water and a waist high meditating Buddha. The air is infused with lemongrass ginger and vanilla.

The Spa features a unique treatment menu developed exclusively for Rockhouse. All of the products are made locally using only natural ingredients indigenous to the Caribbean. The spa promises to restore peace and harmony back into your life.

A favorite treatment is the Release Island Mint Aroma Therapy Massage. The massage was a Caribbean skin vacation as my therapist, Joy, wiped away my worries with her perfected touch. Ingredients such as refreshing spearmint, peppermint, green tea, honey, aloe, grape seed oil and basil refresh my skin and sinuses.

The best gift anyone can give themselves is a little Joy (pun intended), as she tells me that visiting the spa is the best thing for you because it is good for the heart and mind. “The blood flows to your heart, and you still the mind.” Which makes for a happy, harmonious being.
