The new Recipe Inspirations from McCormick & Co., the world’s largest
spice company, make dinner preparation a breeze. Here are a few of
Wendy Bazilian, our nutrition editor’s favorites:
The faves in my home: Asian Sesame Salmon and Rosemary Roasted Chicken with Potatoes. (I’ve been known to sub in fish for chicken, while my husband likes the recipe ‘as written’.)
The Asian spice blend includes premeasured toasted sesame seeds,
minced garlic, minced onions, ground ginger and crushed red pepper.
Just add the salmon, scallions, honey and low-sodium soy sauce. Serve
with broccoli and you’ve got a winner. This one’s as beautiful as it
is tasty.
The Rosemary Chicken offers up perfectly balanced mixture of paprika,
crushed rosemary leaves, minced garlic and ground pepper. The recipe
only calls for chicken, red potatoes and olive oil, though I’ll often
add a few sprigs of fresh rosemary, too for appearance and ‘added’
flavor! I serve this with a green salad.
