Ginger Coconut Joint Blend

Ginger eases joint pain and soothes swollen joints with its anti-inflammatory properties.

Ingredients

30 drops ginger essential oil

2 ounces coconut oil

Preparation

Combine ginger essential oil with coconut oil. Mix well. This mixture can be used fresh, or made in advance. Although coconut has a long shelf life, storing the oil out of the sun or in the refrigerator maintains its solidity.

Rub the oil mixture onto the sore joint. After leaving the oil on for about 10 minutes, wipe off any excess, or gently rub it into the surrounding skin.

Note: Ginger juice is not an effective substitute in this recipe for the essential oil, as the juice will not mix well with the coconut oil.
