Keep these insider tricks at hand to make the most of every beauty dollar you spend:
- Apply your body lotion, oil or cream to damp skin to lock in extra moisture. Your product will spread easily and your skin will be will even more fully hydrated.
- Is your foundation looking too dark for your pale skin this fall? Don’t toss it. Mix a dab of your favorite moisturizer into the foundation to lighten the formula to your desired shade.
- Always seem to use shampoo faster than its conditioner counterpart? Instead of tossing it, use it the moisturizing conditioner as a hydrating shave cream until every last drop is gone.
- When sharpening your eyeliner, don’t use a sharpener that eats half the pencil each time you use it. Find one that takes off just the top layer, which will make your pencil last 3x longer.
