Shadow Blast
Continued from our Retreat & Renew Daily Tip.
Undereye skin is naturally thin, and purple, blue or brown hues easily show through.
Here’s how to hide them away:
To flawlessly conceal your dark circles, use both an opaque color-correcting concealer and a regular concealer that’s about one shade lighter than your skin color. For the darkest purple circles, choose a color-correcting concealer with an orange hue, and for bluish circles, go for a tan or pink-toned shade.
- Starting at the inner corner of your eye, apply a small amount of eye cream to hydrate the eye area. The skin should feel hydrated and supple, but not greasy. Pat away extra moisture with a tissue or sponge.
- Working from the inner corner outward, use your finger or a makeup brush to gently blend a small amount of the color-correcting concealer onto the darkest areas under your eye only.
- Then apply a thin layer of your regular concealer on top, making sure to cover evenly, all the way to your lower lash line.
- If your concealer dries shiny, set the look with a small amount of powder, preferably with slight illumination. Go easy on the powder so it doesn’t settle and create fine lines.
Behold your bright, beautiful eyes!
