Raw Honey: This is a powerhouse ingredient packed full of benefits. The sugars in the honey will act as natural humectants and emollients, to increase the water content of the skin and reduce redness while regulating the skin pH. Turmeric: Well renowned for its healing benefits, we could rave on about turmeric for hours! Add to your homemade face mask to help reduce acne, reduce redness of the skin, heal wounds, reduce the appearance of aging and fade pigmentation.
Cinnamon: Say goodbye to bacteria, and hello to blood flow. This spice is wonderful for your skin, and will help clear out the bad stuff and smooth you out.
Coconut Oil: Ahh, our faithful friend coconut oil makes yet another appearance, and for a very good reason. Coconut oil is incredibly moisturizing. It also contains natural nutrients like vitamin E that are great for your skin and fights against bacteria to even out blemishes and giving your skin a nourishing boost in skin-loving properties!
• 2 tbsp Raw Honey
• 2 tsp Ground Turmeric
• 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
• 2 tbsp Extra Virgin Coconut Oil
- Mix these ingredients up in a small bowl. Use as little or as much of each as you want. I love recipes like this, where you can personalize it for your own skin. There are no rules here — make it yours.
- Use just as you would any face scrub, we love keeping it in the show and gently scrubbing for 2-3 minutes. Rinsing in the shower means less mess 😉
