New Year’s resolutions are great, but let’s agree we don’t need that marker any longer to make healthier choices for ourselves. Let’s start with these healthy nutrition trends that promise to become staples in your diet. We decided to scope the news to find out what nutrition trends are on the horizon, or still going strong from last year, and how they can help you find your healthiest self.
- Skip the wrap and stick to the bowl. From smoothie bowls to quinoa bowls, eating your meal out of a bowl is all the rage in nutrition trends. But beyond the beauty of the bowl, eating this way helps control portion sizes, encourages colorful food options, and also discourages some of the extra we don’t need, i.e. a bun or a wrapper.

- Look to the sea. If you want nutrient-dense greens, seaweeds are rich in minerals and vitamins.
