Should You Go on a Detox Diet?

Detox diets are common this time of year.  After the holiday season many people gain weight, and they want to get back in shape. If you are struggling to feel healthy and balanced a detox diet could be for you. There are many types of detoxes available. If you are considering doing one, trying to find the best option for you is the best for lasting results.

If you are feeling bloated, stressed, and lethargic or overweight, a detox could help you feel better. Detox diets help regulate your blood pressure, improve your mood, and eliminate waste and balance out your weight.

Although there is a lot of detox diets, consider all the options for you and which type will be best. There is the raw diet, which are all raw vegetables and fruit.

Raw Food

Raw diets eliminate the processed foods and chemicals in the body. Raw diets can help cleanse your inner system but they can leave a person hungry. If you are use to carbohydrates, starch foods and wheat products a raw diet might be extreme.

Vegan

Vegan diets are common for people who have a food allergy to meats or people who are conscious about animal cruelty.. Vegan is no animal products which means no meats, dairy or fish. The diet is mostly leafy greens and health fruits. Vegans report feeling good health and optimal clarity. Many vegans are in great health and lean. If you choose to go animal free make sure you get enough protein in your diet from other sources like quinoa.

Fasting

Fasting is the most difficult diet and can last anywhere form 3-7 days. Fasting is no food and a liquid diet. It takes a lot of courage, determination and will power, but it is one of the fastest ways to cleanse the system of unwanted food back up. Fasting can help improve your metabolism and health.

Gluten Free

Many people are discovering the power of gluten free diets. If you have a wheat sensitivity of gluten intolerance, a gluten free diet can help improve your health. Many people with chronic headaches and  bloated bellies report eliminating gluten from their diet and seeing improvements in their health.

Juice

Juice diet is liquid diets that can help your body get its proper nutrition in it. Juicing vegetables and fruit into a blender can help the essential vitamins get into your system. High Protein

Eating a diet that is high protein can help your body rid toxins as well. Protein can help improve your oral health and your smile. Protein is good for your body and when you get enough your body usually functions more smoothly.

Many restaurants will create special menus to accommodate all different types of diets. Most menus are restaurants now accommodate all dietary needs, such as vegan, gluten free and special juice diets.
