Yes to Vegan Organic Lipstick – Why? Because We Eat Lottsa Lipsticks.

I I hope you didn’t imagine someone actually eating a stick of lipstick, what I’m referring to is that our lipsticks end up in our stomach and blood stream one way or another. It comes off when we eat and sticks to things such as food or glasses; but where does the rest go?

If only it simply just evaporated into thin air. But it doesn’t work like that, darlin’. In all actuality, the studies based on this notion are unclear and utterly impossible to get an exact amount, but the amount of lipstick one person consumes is somewhere close to 41.8 grams per year. (That article will go deeper into these statistics)

The important take away here is that we females are consuming it every day we wear it. What we wear on top of our bodies eventually makes its way into our bodies, not to mention it mixes in with our saliva when we lick our lips.

If you follow me enough, you’d know I’m a firm believer in that statement. That is why going vegan with your lipstick is the safest and most conscious way to go. 100% Pure is Cruelty-Free, Vegan, Anti-Aging, and Mostly Gluten Free.

T They have a semi-matte finish. They are antioxidant and vitamin-packed and are truly 100% pure – no synthetic chemicals, synthetic dyes, chemical preservatives or any other toxins, glides on like creamy shea butter, and {in my opinion} lasts longer than a normal lipstick would because of the stain it leaves from the natural pigments.

I have read that they “bleed” a little bit and is suggested to use lip liner, but this doesn’t’ happen to me, so maybe it has to do with a primer vs no primer (or foundation) underneath.

Did I mention these vegan lipstick luxuries smell delicious? These are the lipsticks that have been all over our Instagram and social media for our National Lipstick Day promotion. Suffice it to say, I’m thrilled and thankful to have these in my bathroom.

T This excites me and let me tell you why. 4 years ago I switched to an all green, non-toxic lifestyle from my household products all the way down to my hair products and makeup.

And as you know, building this back up from ground zero can cost a nice shiny penny. I’m happy to report, I’m fully stocked now and there isn’t anything I need to add.
